Grief Camp!

Oh my goodness! We had the best time at Grief Camp this year. We had art therapy, dance therapy, pet therapy, play therapy….it was great. Our mom says that it was one of the best camps yet. All of the children were so sweet and they loved petting us. Daryl went on Friday night and Larry spent Saturday with the kids. We were so tired when we got home, but it was worth every second. Addie was a little sad that she couldn’t come yet, but she still has some training to do. But we think she will be great!

Our mom did a wonderful job with the camp and she had some pretty awesome volunteers too. She wanted to say thanks to everyone who helped make the weekend a success.

Addie Graduated!

I graduated from Obedience School on September 22nd.
Here I am waiting to take my test!
Here I am (after I graduated) getting my certificate with Mr. Buddy Cummings!

Next step..Canine Good Citizen!
Daryl and Larry were very proud of me.

Thank you for coming out to Chick Fil A Night!
We did not get to go, but we heard there was a great turnout!
Maybe next time they will let us in…hey..we are as cute as that cow!

Chick-Fil-A on Monday

Hi everybody! I just wanted to brag.
I went to obedience school last nite. I was the only dog who even showed up!
I did very well on all my test. I had a little trouble on my 3 minute stay,
I wanted to get up, but I managed to make it! Three minutes sure is a long
time for me to sit!

We all want to remind you that his Monday Night, September 19th at
Chick-Fil_ in Cleveland, you need to come out and eat with us! Well, we
can’t actually be there, but Wes and Amy will. If you eat there between 4
and 8, we get some of the money. We promise to use this money to help boys
and girls in Bradley County.

Hello Friends! Hope you are all doing well! We are loving this cool weather and are busy playing. Addie has been getting into some trouble for chewing up her bed but other than that we are doing great! Addie has two more weeks of obedience school and will graduate on September 22nd. Larry’s Friday at Yates

I too had a fun day on Friday, September 02, 2011. I got to go to work at Yates Primary School. I met with two Kindergarten classes, Mrs. Foggin and Ms. Morris. I had so much fun meeting the boys and girls. I taught them “L” means, Larry says Listen so you can Learn. I also taught them how to exercise like a dog..that means to run, jump, walk and play at least 20 minutes everyday. We were even running in place in the classroom. It was really fun.

Daryl’s Friday at BB

I had a fun day on Friday, September 02, 2011. I got to go to work at
Blythe-Bower Elementary School. I love it there and I love seeing the boys and girls. I also love seeing the teachers. I loved seeing my special friend Mrs. Mica Parker!!!

I saw lots of boys and girls and even helped a few of them get to class. They were having a rough day and I was honored to get to walk them to class.

I love going to school.

Obedience School

I am having so much fun in obedience school. I went to class this week with my three new friends. We are all working really hard to learn our manners! I think I am doing really well. I do have to practice hard each day. I will graduate on September 22nd..that will be fun.

I like learning and making new friends.

Daryl Goes to Camp Ocoee

Hi friends! On Tuesday, August 30th I had a very busy day. I was on the morning news with my mom and we got to tell about our job. I was pretty calm, as I always am. We left there and I got to go with some great kids from Teen Learning Center to Camp Ocoee. It was a really fun day. I got to do some exercise with the kids. I taught them the importance of exercising everyday. We were even jump-roping and skipping-well, the kids were. I just ran!

At the end of the day, I got to swim. That was so much fun. I ran and jumped off the dock with the kids. At first they were scared, but they cheered me on and before I knew it I was in Parksville Lake swimming. What a great day!
